NORTH Wales police are urgently appealing for people to be vigilant following the theft of a green medical bag from a Volkswagon Passat, in Wrexham yesterday (Tuesday 18).
The medicine could prove fatal if taken and police are urging individuals not to consume any medicine they find but to contact police immediately.
The medication taken included diamorphine, adrenaline auto injections, glycogen auto injections, arabine sulphate auto injections, benzyl penicillin, cefuroxine stenibil, metoclopramide, syclizine, ketovalac, diazaimuls, diazepam supposetanes, tramadol, Flumazanil – all could prove fatal if taken.
The green bag containing the range of medicine was stolen from the car parked on Chester Road in Gresford at 2pm.
Inquires are continuing and officers investigating are appealing to anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Chester Road in Gresford before 2pm yesterday, to contact officers immediately.
