TWO police community support officers and an Ellesmere Port school are joining forces to help residents.

PCSO’s Sarah O’Flanagan and Darren Edwards have teamed up with Parklands Primary School and Child Care Centre to hold regular police surgeries.

The hour-long sessions will take place on the first Monday of every month at midday. The first surgery will be held on February 2 at the different time of 11.30am-12.30pm.

PCSO O’Flanagan said: “We are keen to get to know everyone and we like to spend as much time as we can out on foot patrol.

“I’m hoping the surgeries will give us an opportunity to meet more people by providing them with a chance to regularly meet us for a chat about any issues they may have.

“I’d like to thank the school and care centre for hosting the surgeries. The school is also providing valuable assistance by accepting police action request forms which are passed on to us. I’m really grateful for this help.”

“I’m hopeful these new arrangements will benefit lots of people from parents who regularly attend school to people who work long hours.

“The combination of options available means everyone has a way to get in touch with me, regardless of their situation.”

People can leave a message for their PCSO on the CAT’s voicemail number which is 0845 458 6373.
