THERE are now even more opportunities for Little Sutton residents to have their say on policing.

Police surgeries are on the community calendar thanks to the efforts of Police Community Support Officer Darren Edwards.

He said: “It’s really important for people to have a say on the issues local officers are focusing on. These meetings give them an opportunity to do just that.

“The surgeries are an ideal way for residents to meet local officers and tell us about any issues that affect them.

“This helps us paint a picture of what life is like in the community and means we can see what the problems are and tailor our efforts to tackle them in the best possible manner.”

Surgeries will take place at Great Sutton Village Hall, on Old Chester Road, between 10am and noon on January 8, February 19, March 1 and May 13.

PCSO Edwards is a Community Action Team officer based at Ellesmere Port Police Station. To find out more about the surgeries and Community Action Meetings leave a message, with contact details, on 0845 458 6373.

Officers pick up their messages each time they are on duty and return calls which require a response.
