POLICE are appealing for witnesses of a two-vehicle crash that left three people with serious injuries.
The accident happened at Dunham On Hill, near Frodsham, at 11.30pm on Friday night, when a black Ford Mondeo, driven by a 29-year Runcorn man, collided with a silver Peugeot that was travelling in the opposite direction.
The Mondeo driver sustained serious injuries and was today described as being in a 'comfortable' condition at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
Two female passengers were seriously injured and were taken to the same hospital for treatment.
A further two male passengers received slight injuries.
The Peugeot driver, a 34-year-old woman from Frodsham, sustained slight injuries but went to the Countess of Chester hospital as a precaution.
