PUPILS at Mostyn House School in Parkgate are celebrating another highly successful set of GCSE results, with many achieving a string of scores that exceeded their most optimistic hopes.
Headteacher Suzi Grenfell praised the efforts of pupils and staff, saying: “Our GCSE candidates covered a wide range of ability and they all entered for a full range of subjects.
“ It was therefore pleasing to see that our results in all core subjects were considerably higher than national statistics, in science, in particular, by an exceptional 30%. A number of optional subjects also achieved an A*-C rate of 100%.”
