A WOODLAND near Wrexham has benefited from a £14,000 environmental grant.
Plas Power Wood received the funding from Wren (Waste Recycling Environmental Limited), with the Woodland Trust using the money to pay for improvements in the area.
The bulk of the funding has gone toward replacing Victorian cast iron railings along the southern boundary along Mill Terrace.
Clare Morgan, who manages Plas Power for the Woodland Trust, said: “Plas Power is an example of what the Woodland Trust does best.
“We’re very grateful to Wren for helping us keep the wood special.”
