SHREWSBURY manager Gary Peters will give striker Andy Cooke a late fitness test ahead of tomorrow's clash with Wrexham.

The former Burnley man missed the 2-0 midweek win over Notts County with an ankle injury but has made a good recovery and Peters is hopeful the extra day's training will help him return to contention.

But Cooke is unlikely to be thrown straight back into the starting line-up as stand-in Leo Fortune-West picked up a man-of-the-match award against Notts County after making the opener for Derek Asamoah and scoring the second.

Defender Neil Ashton will definitely be available after recovering from the illness which forced him to miss the County win, while top scorer Michael Symes completes a three-match suspension.
