Ellesmere Port local and professional boxer Paul Butler has become an ambassador for a foundation set up after the death of a two-year-old girl from a rare form of cancer.

Other ambassadors for the Amelia-Mae Foundation include Heart FM presenter Angela Jay as well as football legend Neville Southall.

Amelia-Mae died in July last year, just two months before her third birthday, from neuroblastoma, a particularly aggressive form of cancer.

The foundation has since been set up by Amelia’s parents Angie and Stewart Davies to raise awareness and support those families that have been affected by the illness.
