POLICE patrols have been increased around Hartford after a second sighting of a man acting suspiciously near to schools.
Last week we reported how a man seen loitering in the playground at Hartford Primary at the end of the school day quickly made off when approached by teachers.
The school’s headteacher, Chris Slater, sent letters to parents alerting them and urging vigilance.
Four days later, on Tuesday, February 26, a pupil at the Grange School, on Bradburns Lane, reported a man aged between 30 and 40 sitting in a van outside the school taking pictures.
He is described as white, with short dark brown hair and is tall, with a dimple in his chin. He is very slim.
Police could not confirm they are linking the two incidents, or if they believe the same man was at both locations.
