A DEDICATED volunteer has been rewarded for her long service and commitment to Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
Pat James of the Neston and District RNLI has received her Gold Badge from the Duke of Kent at the charity’s annual awards presentation.
Elaine Close, fundraising manager, said: “Our annual awards are a way of saying thank you to volunteers who have worked tirelessly for many years.
“Pat has proved an excellent joint chairman in this busy and successful branch, sharing responsibility for various events to the great benefit of our charity. Her award is very well deserved.”
