TWO Ellesmere Port youngsters were among the star performers at Wirral Grammar School.
Chris Jowitt and Sean Done both gained nine A* grades.
At the school, 50% of all exam results were at the highest grade of A* and A and an impressive 81% of results were at grades A*, A and B.
Headteacher David Hazeldine said: “It was very pleasing to see that the percentage of pupils gaining three or more points at grades A* and A had increased from 60% last year to 66% this year.”
