A SCHOOL has been declared “outstanding” in its latest Ofsted report.

Inspectors wrote that Wolverham Primary & Nursery was a “good school” and its provision in the Foundation Stage was “outstanding”.

Acting head Jo Airey said: “We are all delighted with the report. Staff work hard to provide a fun and stimulating curriculum which includes residential visits and a variety of after school clubs.

“Supportive parents, happy children and wider links with the community have led to an increasing demand for places in our Foundation Stage.

“So much so that, for the first time, there is a waiting list for reception starting September 2008.”
