A PET owner is grinning like a Cheshire cat after her kitten made the final 12 in a national competition to find the new face of Felix.
‘Cheeky’ Tallulah is just a whisker away from being named the UK’s most mischievous kitten after being picked out of more than 5,000 frisky felines.
And her owner Rebecca Todd, of Audlem Drive, Northwich, says she is certainly a handful!
“Tallulah has a habit of opening the kitchen cupboards and climbing behind them, it never ceases to amaze me how she manages to wiggle her way into the smallest of spaces. She really is such a rascal!
“I’m honoured my cheeky little kitten is one of 12 finalists. I think she’s got what it takes to go on and win the competition. It would be amazing to see her face on Felix packs across the country.”
The competition aims to raise much-needed funds for the UK’s leading feline charity, Cats Protection.
And if Tallulah goes all the way Rebecca is planning to donate the year’s supply of cat food she’ll win to Mid Cheshire Animal Welfare, who found her her first pet 10 years ago. She has already given the voluntary organisation the three months’ worth of food Tallulah has won by making the final 12.
Felix spokesman Jonathon Watts said: “We were overwhelmed with the number of mischievous kitten entries, and Tallulah is certainly a strong contender with a good chance of winning.”
A judging panel of petcare professionals is currently busy making its final decision, and the winner will be revealed later this month.
