POLICE are appealing to the angling community to be on the look out for property stolen in Weaverham.
High value fishing equipment was stolen from a garage in Walnut Avenue between 8pm on Saturday, September 5, and 9.15am the following day.
Items stolen include a Maver Elite 77 black fishing rod with green graphics and a Maver logo, a Garbalino rod bag and a black Prestons rod bag with a blue logo.
Two Prestons feeder rods and two tri-cast extending rods were also stolen.
Insp Paul Loughlin, head of Northwich Neighbourhood Policing Unit, said: “I would appeal to anyone who has been offered fishing equipment for sale to contact us.
“This is high-value, distinctive equipment which is easily recognisable to people who know what they are looking for.”
