A RUDHEATH shop keeper accused of sexually assaulting a schoolgirl in the living quarters of his store has been cleared of all charges.

Kishor Solanki, who owns and runs the Spar shop on Wright Avenue, denied four counts of causing a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity.

It was alleged that on two seperate occasions earlier this year Solanki, known as Chris, groped the girl under a blanket on his living room sofa before forcing her to perform a sex act on him.

But after a two-day trial a jury at Chester Crown Court returned not guilty verdicts on all counts on Wednesday afternoon, November 12.
