A RUNNER from Lostock Gralam has proved she’s all heart – by completing the 10km Great Manchester Run to raise money for charity.

Liz Stainsby took on her toughest challenge yet on Sunday, May 17, in aid of the British Heart Foundation, finishing the gruelling course in an impressive 56 minutes.

And she managed to raise more than £100 for the BHF in the process.Š

“I wanted to run in memory of my uncle, who died of heart problems in 2004,” said Liz, 26.

“The Great Manchester Run was a big challenge and an incredible experience. I’m proud to have been part of it.”
