NORTH West Ambulance Service (NWAS) NHS Trust has successfully enforced infection control measures following recommendations set by its regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

In a report published last week, it revealed the trust is adhering to regulations to protect patients, workers and other service users from acquiring health-associated infections.

It also highlights some of the measures the trust has successfully implemented to address infection control following the recommendations and requirements made by the CQC in August.
