NORTH East Wales Wildlife (NEWW) is running a free training course on reptile identification, ecology and survey techniques.

NEWW has received funding from the Countryside Council for the training to teach people about their native reptiles and help with surveys and collecting records to determine the distribution of reptiles, such as grass snakes and common lizards, in the area.

The free course takes place on Saturday, May 23, at Rhydymwyn Valley Nature Reserve, near Mold.
