NOMADS manager Jim Hackett has told his players to forget Saturday’s 6-2 defeat at Haverfordwest as his side host Airbus UK tonight.

“We have lost ground after that result and now find ourselves three points below Airbus in ninth place,” he said.

“I feel upbeat about our overall performance and I’m sure the lads will welcome this early chance to put that freak result behind us and show what we can really do.”

Nomads report no fresh injuries.

Airbus bid to stretch their unbeaten start to six games, writes John Bridgwater.

Player-boss Gareth Owen felt his side were not at their best on Saturday despite a 2-0 win over Porthamdog.

“We need to be more consistent, we can’t afford to turn it on and off like a tap,” he said. “We did not reach the standards we set against Bangor a few weeks back.”

Summer signings Gareth Caughter and Phil Molyneux are still not fully fit.
