A NINETEEN-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged with the theft of a car in Wrexham.

North Wales Police were called at 7.55pm on Wednesday to a report that a vehicle had been stolen, whilst being test driven, from an address in Hightown, Wrexham.

A police spokeswoman said: “The police helicopter and police cars were involved in the search for the missing vehicle, and the two men, aged 19 and 25, were eventually arrested at a property in the Caia Park area, after they decamped from the car.”

The 19-year-old is due to appear before Wrexham Magistrates this morning (Friday) and the 25-year-old has been bailed.
