BARGAIN-HUNTERS flocked to support a charity sale.

Tailor Sheila Roberts staged the weekend event in the Ambrose Lloyd Centre, Mold.

It raised £1,200, which will be shared by Nightingale House Hospice in Wrexham, the Wales Air Ambulance and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

Sheila, who has raised more than £110,000 for charity during the last 20 years, said: “I’m delighted with the result, especially those who supported the event, including Ron Owens, who owns the units.

“It was hectic but enjoyable, and business was brisk.

“Another sale is planned for June 19-20.”
