MARKS & Spencer will open a new 35,000 sq ft store at Eagles Meadow on Thursday, October 30.
The new M&S will replace the existing store in Hope Street and will be more than twice its size.
The store will open at 10am with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony and customers will be invited to join the celebration with a complimentary glass of champagne.
The M&S store will provide a selection of fashion for the family, including the per una range in womenswear, and homeware.
In the Food Hall, more than 2,000 quality M&S products including the Cook! and Ingredients ranges, and fine wines, will be available.
Customers will also be able to enjoy freshly baked items from an in-store bakery.
Shoppers can relax in the store’s 80-seat M&S café.
Geraldine Parkin, M&S Wrexham store manager, said: “We’re delighted to be opening a brand new, bigger and better store in Wrexham, providing our customers with the very best M&S products in a fresh, new environment.”
M&S Wrexham will incorporate a number of initiatives in line with Plan A, M&S’s 100-point, five year “eco” plan.
Water saving features such as dual flush toilets and self-closing taps will be fitted in the staff and customer facilities, while energy efficient escalators and lighting with movement sensors will help to save energy.
Cycle racks will also be installed to encourage employees to cycle to the store.
The existing Wrexham store will continue to trade until the new store opens.
