A MAJOR hotel development at the Coliseum Leisure Park in Ellesmere Port will create up to 25 new jobs.

Work on the Travelodge, which will be built on vacant land next to Prezzo’s restaurant in Coliseum Way, is set to start at the end of the year.

The company was granted conditional planning permission for the 77-bedroom hotel, which will include a restaurant and bar, back in May.

A Travelodge spokesman said: “We expect to be on-site by the end of November or the start of December. A development like this will create around 20-25 jobs.”
