THE outgoing captains of Vale Royal Abbey Golf Club have presented the proceeds of their year-long fundraising efforts to Winsford’s NeuroMuscular Centre.
Keith Haddaway and Sue Goddard donated a cheque for £6,000 to NMC staff on Wednesday (May 20).
During their 12-month tenure Keith and Sue organised a 12-hour golf tournament and a host of social events to raise money for the unique centre. NMC spokeswoman Lyndsey Cannon said: “Keith and Sue have done a fantastic job in raising this amount of money - we’re very grateful.”
