VOLUNTEERS at a Neston charity shop have been celebrating the outlet’s 15th birthday.

Staff of the Help the Aged shop at The Cross donned fancy dress to mark the special occasion.

And five volunteers who have been working at the store since it first opened together with four volunteers who have each more put in more than a decade of service were presented with certificates of appreciation.

The charity’s area sales manager Sally Hughes says the hard work and dedication of the volunteers is something to be celebrated.

She said: “They put such a fantastic amount of work which helps the charity’s work with locally disadvantaged older people.”
