EXERCISE bikes and treadmills are murder to most of us.
But David Lloyd Fitness Centre's oldest athlete takes it in her stride.
Nelly Yeo, 85, has been visiting the Cheshire Oaks gym for the past 18 months and, according to her personal trainer Richard Ryan, she's finely-tuned and fitter than most women half her age.
Nelly says she's never felt better, takes her weekly workout very seriously and jokes that she hasn't given up hope of a last minute call-up for the Welsh squad in next year's Commonwealth Games.
She said: 'When your old, you've got to keep going and I would recommend a good workout to anyone.
'It certainly helps blow the cobwebs away.'
