TWO more music stars have been confirmed for Cheshire Oaks’ official Christmas launch event.

The Saturdays, who are headlining the event before switching on the lights of Britain’s biggest Christmas tree, will be supported by Q Award winner Mr Hudson and Swedish dance act Basshunter.

The event, which is being hosted by Radio City 96.7 and Key 103, starts at 5pm on Friday, November 13 with performances from the trio before the switch on at 7pm.

The outlet’s Christmas stands 90 feet tall and will be decorated with 100,000 lights and 80,000 baubles.

Marketing manager Shaun Rhodes said: “The lighting of the tree has already become one of the ‘must see’ events in the region and I can guarantee it’s going to be a spectacular night.

“We’re expecting big crowds to be here to enjoy both the on stage entertainment and late night shopping until 10pm.”
