THE wife of Runcorn Baptist pastor David Brash who was charged with his murder has been granted bail, according to local reports.

Police were still hunting for the two men believed to be accomplices to the killing, her 22 year-old driver, Renante Puerto Prado, and 30-year-old Noah Martinez Noja.

Filipino newspapers were reporting that Annalyn Brash, 23, was allowed to post bail following a court appearance.

Mrs Brash was charged last week with murder and parricide of her husband, who she married in October 2006.

Mr Brash was based at Runcorn’s Independent Baptist Church for 12 years before he left last month to live permanently in the Philippines with his wife and to carry out missionary work.

He was reported missing on November 29 by his wife, but after questioning she led police to where his body was dumped 10 days later.

Police claim Mrs Brash alleged she and her son from a previous relationship were being mistreated so paid the pair 30,000 Philippine pesos, about £350, to kill her husband.
