Two men accused of murdering grandad Jock Straiton have been found guilty.

The jury returned guilty verdicts for Nigel Goolding and Joshua Spruce, both 20, at Chester Crown Court at 12.35pm today.

The decision came just half a day after the jury acquitted co-defendant Paul Blower, 20, yesterday.

Goolding and Spruce will both be sentenced at 10.30am tomorrow (Friday).

Part-time taxi driver Jock Straiton, 59, died on Saturday, July 26, last year when he was brutally assaulted outside his home in Winnington when he confronted the rowdy trio.
