Two men accused of murdering grandad Jock Straiton have been sentences to life imprsionment with a recommendation they servce 15 years.
Nigel Goolding and Joshua Spruce, both 20, heard their sentence at Chester Crown Court this morning.
Part-time taxi driver Jock Straiton, 59, was attacked on the early hours of Saturday, July 26, last year and died two weeks later on Saturday, August 9.
He was brutally assaulted and kicked to death outside his home in Winnington when he confronted a rowdy group disturbing the neighbourhood.
