TWO Wrexham men charged with murder will be tried at Chester Crown Court next month.
Mark Nicholas, 25, of Field View, Caia Park, Wrexham, and Shane Frederick Harper, 31, of Trevanna Way in Wrexham, are charged with the murder of Clint Travis Prince, 27.
It is alleged he was attacked at his home in Wrexham on April 18, beaten with a Samurai statue, and later died in hospital on August 15.
Both men have already denied the charge and appeared at a pre trial review at Mold Crown Court.
The trial has been fixed for January 24 at Chester Crown Court but Judge Roger Dutton was told forensic evidence was still expected and important medical evidence would be served next week.
Both Nicholas and Harper were remanded in custody pending trial.
There was no application for bail.
