A BARNTON man has pleaded not guilty to murdering his landlady.
Former Barnton Primary and Hartford High School pupil Tyrone Bates, 32, is accused of strangling Stella Gleadall in the Cornish seaside town of St Ives in November.
He denied murder at Truro Crown Court on Monday and was remanded in custody by judge Mr Justice Royce QC.
