THE man charged with the manslaughter of Martin Leffler outside a Little Sutton pub has been bailed again.

Michael David Slack, 22, of Northern Rise, Great Sutton, appeared in Chester Crown Court on Tuesday accused of punching Mr Leffler, 48, on December 27 last year outside the Olde Red Lion pub.

On February 13 this year, Mr Leffler died from brain injuries.

Slack will return to the court to enter a plea on January 12.

He was bailed on the condition that he stays at his Northern Rise residence, keeps a curfew from 8pm to 6am and does not contact prosecution witnesses or the family of the victim.
