WEAVER Vale MP Mike Hall visited St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary School, Hartford, to meet a pupil with a rare skin condition.

Five-year-old Danny Griffiths suffers from Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare genetic disease characterized by the presence of extremely fragile skin and recurrent blisters. Mr Hall helped the school to raise money to look after Danny and make sure the disruption to his education is minimal.

Roughly one out of every 50,000 babies are affected by EB.
