WEAVER Vale MP Mike Hall (pictured) says the delay in getting vital exam results to schools is a “complete fiasco”.
Sats results for 11- and 14- year-olds were late this year because of “technical difficulties” at marking agency ETS Europe.
He said: “The situation is totally unacceptable. It has caused anxiety and concern for teachers, parents and pupils and you have to question the competency of the agency appointed to do the job.
“I want to get to the bottom of this and make sure it doesn’t happen again.
“ETS Europe were totally incompetent and the contract should be taken off them.”
