FUNDRAISERS still have time to register for a charity walk across Wirral.
National disability charity Motability is organising Walkability to raise money for some of the most disadvantaged disabled people in the UK.
The 12-mile walk, which takes place on Saturday, March 2, on Wirral Way, starts in Hooton and finishes in West Kirby.
Those wishing to walk a shorter distance can join a 5.5-mile route which ends in Parkgate.
Aine Canavan of Motability said: “This scenic route is accessible to everybody and offers wonderful views across the estuary to Wales.
“All fundraising efforts will greatly benefit disabled people who cannot afford the right car or adaptations for their needs, or to help young disabled people with driving lessons.”
Wirral Way has accessible paths, which means everyone can get involved, including wheelchair, scooter and powered wheelchair users.
Each participant is asked to raise sponsorship and pay a £20 registration fee.
Children can take part in Walkability with a registration fee of £10 each.
