GLAMOUR model Katie Price is dazzling fans in her 2009 calendar thanks to a Cheshire online retail company.
Mum-of-three Katie is pictured in her latest calendar shoot showing off her toned figure in costumes and shoes from Tarporley-based business www.sparklingstrawberry.com.
In the calendar Katie is wearing Sparkling Strawberry’s costumes and shoes in seven out of 12 months.
This comes as the business reports its busiest year since it started in 2006 with booming sales around Hallowe’en and Christmas.
With an economic downturn, many high street retailers are predicting one of the worst Christmas markets for many years, but Sparkling Strawberry has not been hit by customers tightening their belts.
Now that top model and celebrity party-goer Katie is wearing its outfits the company hopes that others will turn to it for partywear.
Company director Sarah Pearson said: “We have supplied Katie’s stylist with products for quite a few photo shoots now, but we were over the moon when we saw the calendar.
“She looks gorgeous and obviously likes our products as she often buys pieces after she has modelled them.”
“As a fairly young business you would expect business to be growing but this year has been fantastic. It’s evident that people are determined to continue with their party plans, despite the credit crunch.”
