SPORTS minister Richard Caborn hosts a meeting next week to discuss the Wrexham FC crisis.
Wrexham MP Ian Lucas, administrators and supporters were expected to travel to London for Monday's talks.
It comes ahead of the High Court case which could seal the League Two club's future.
Under current rules, the Dragons can only remain in administration until June, 2006.
Although the Football League indicated it may be sympathetic to the club's plight Mr Lucas wants to make sure there is no chance Wrexham FC will become extinct.
During the meeting Wrexham's current situation will be fully outlined to the minister.
Mr Lucas said: "This will be an important meeting to set the scene for the minister on the eve of the club's vital court case.
"When I set up this meeting with the minister last week he was very keen to hear more about the intricacies of the current situation and this meeting will give him a chance to hear the details in full from those closest to the club."
