THE Welsh Association of Ladies Choirs (WALC) has sent a message of thanks to everyone who turned out to its performance at the William Aston Hall earlier this month.
Publicity officer Ceridwen Rogers said: 'We would to thank those of you who attended the gala concert given by WALC for Hope House Children's Hospice.
'The concert was well-attended and an appreciative audience gave two standing ovations to the 288 female choristers under the magnificent leadership of Valeri Grenfell, our chairman and musical director.
'Your support was greatly appreciated.'
All profits will go to the hospice.
