PREPARATIONS for the new Cheshire West and Chester Council have made significant progress with the appointment of another director to a key position.
Mike Lewis, currently the project director for customer contact and business change at Warrington Borough Council, has been appointed the director of area and community services overseeing Ellesmere Port and Neston housing, regulatory services, neighbourhood and customer services and Information Communication Technology.
He said: “This role represents a great challenge to bring in the kind of excellent customer services that people will want and to make a real difference to the communities through new neighbourhood areas.
“I’m looking forward to joining the team and playing a part in creating the new authority.”
