NORTHWICH mayor Brian Cook picked up some circus skills on Saturday.
But importantly so did the members of the Northwich Multi-sports Club.
Brian was the guest of the club which provides a range of activities for young people with disabilities from across Mid Cheshire.
They learnt about circus skills, including riding a unicycle and juggling, by expert Alex Petscher at Northwich Youth Centre.
The Local Network Fund in partnership Central and Eastern Cheshire PCT and Vale Royal Borough Council financed the venture.
Chairwoman Barbara Rimmer said: “The club is a great way for disabled young people to make friends. We offer a weekly opportunity for disabled children to participate in a sports-related activity, but we are desperate for volunteers.”
