THE Meningitis Research Foundation is calling on children's nurseries in the Wrexham area to take part in a musical extravaganza while helping to fight meningitis and septicaemia (the blood poisoning form) which mainly affect under-fives and kill more children in the UK than any other infectious disease.
There is a chance for local children to get creative, have lots of fun, and do what children do best - make loads of noise!
Meningitis Research Foundation's friendly monster, Marvin, has got his own song for nursery children to sing along to.
The Foundation has a free Make Music with Marvin pack, full of ideas on musical instruments to make, words to Marvin's song, with Marvin stickers and balloons to ensure the event goes with a bang!
Nurseries will also receive the Foundation's resource, Tot Watch, containing information about symptoms for carers of toddlers. So Make Music with Marvin is a great chance to arm yourself with potentially life-saving information, and help to raise crucial funds for Meningitis Research Foundation.
