ELLESMERE Port’s star grandparent has been crowned.
Last month the Pioneer and the Port Arcades joined forces to find that one extra-special gran or granddad.
And Margaret Abbott of Wilkinson Street, Ellesmere Port is our winner thanks to her grandchildren Chloe, 14, and Liam, eight.
They said their nan was “the most unselfish, caring, kindest person in the world and she deserves a treat.”
Runner-up was Joan York of Oxton Green, Great Sutton, whose granddaughter Frankie-Joan, seven, said: “She is my BFF - Best Friend Forever.”
Both grandparents received gifts and vouchers to spend in the Port Arcades.
