MASCOTS gathered for an oversized birthday celebration at Cheshire Oaks.
The Blue Planet Aquarium mascot Charlie The Clownfish celebrated his second birthday with his mascot mates from across the North West, cutting his cake during all the fun at The Coliseum’s summer extravaganza.
Shoppers at Cheshire Oaks Coliseum Shopping Park were astonished to see a collection of costumed characters descend on the park for Charlie’s surprise party.
A shopper said: “I brought the kids to the summer extravaganza for the brilliant, free activities.
“We were stunned to suddenly see so many mascots on the park singing Happy Birthday to Charlie the Clownfish – we had a fantastic day!”
Visitors also enjoyed summer-themed face-painting and the delights of Barrington, The Coliseum’s larger-than-life entertainer.
Next Saturday the shopping park will encourage visitors to get creative, painting their own free mini masterpieces to take home.
The Summer Extravaganza continues every Saturday until the August 28, cumulating in the back to school weekend, which will include a free tuck shop and a ‘design a pump bag’ workshop.
