ONE man died and another was seriously injured in a multiple car accident on the M62 near Warrington yesterday afternoon.
Cheshire Police said a 35-year-old van driver smashed into a queue of vehicles and died at the scene.
Another man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
There were long tailbacks and the motorway was re-opened at 8.30pm.
