Man charged with supplying 1.45kg of amphetamines across Ellesmere Port

AN ALLEGED drug dealer has appeared in court charged with supplying thousands of amphetamines across Ellesmere Port and Merseyside.

AN ALLEGED drug dealer has appeared in court charged with supplying thousands of amphetamines across Ellesmere Port and Merseyside.

Russell Baines, of Ward Grove in Birkenhead, appeared before Chester Magistrates on Thursday accused of possessing 1.45kg of amphetamines with intent to supply across Ellesmere Port, Cheshire and Birkenhead.

The 46-year-old is also charged with possessing 3.25g of cocaine in Ellesmere Port on October 13, 2011.

Baines was granted unconditional bail and is due to appear before Chester Crown Court on March 18 for trial.
