A 28-YEAR-OLD man suffered facial injuries in a late-night assault in Warrington.

A 28-YEAR-OLD man suffered facial injuries in a late-night assault in Warrington.

The incident happened in Hawson Road at about 11pm on Friday, when the man was struck in the face by a young male.

This caused facial injuries, including a fractured cheekbone which required treatment at Warrington District Hospital. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact Warrington CID on 01244 613845.
