A MAN is in a critical condition after a four car crash yesterday morning.
At 10.15am emergency services were called to a report of a serious road traffic collision on the A550 Welsh Road in Ledsham, Ellesmere Port.
One of the drivers has been rushed to Aintree Hospital by air ambulance after suffering serious head and leg injuries. He is described as in ‘critical condition’.
Two other drivers have been sent to the Countess of Chester Hospital for treatment for back injuries. Their condition is thought to be stable.
Police closed the road from Two Mills traffic lights to Shotwick lights.
Witnesses should call Cheshire police on 101 quoting incident 286 of January 15.
