POLICE are advising motorists the eastbound carriageway of the M56 motorway, between Stoak and Shotwick Park, will be closed overnight from 10pm today (Thursday November 5).
Initially, two lanes will be closed, between junctions 15 and 16, during the early evening prior to a full closure required for essential maintenance work.
Cheshire police said it was unclear when the motorway would be fully reopened but warned “severe traffic delays” are expected in the area.
