A TINA TURNER tribute artist is feeling "simply the best" after winning more than £200,000 on the lottery.
Now Julie Anne Grainger, 45, and husband Steven, 51, from Prenton, Wirral, plan to quit the UK and make for Malta to fulfil their dream of setting up a karaoke roadshow.
But the lucky couple had already been already been planning their emigration to Malta when Julie checked the numbers on Teletext and recognized them as hers.
Mrs Grainger said: "I was at home with Steven on Wednesday night when it dawned on me that I hadn't checked my Lotto tickets.
"I switched on the Teletext and on seeing the numbers said to Steven 'they're ours!' Steven didn't believe me, so I rushed out of bed, stumbled over the dog and checked the numbers off the ticket - and they matched."
Mrs Grainger, who has not yet been able to celebrate as she has been nursing a sprained ankle since her fall, added: "Even after checking the ticket, Steven still didn't believe me and went to work the next day still thinking that it was all an elaborate joke.
The win means that the couple can bring their plans forward and kick start their move to Malta.
She said: "It has always been our dream to emigrate and now that we have won the money, it will mean that I can start another dream of mine which is to own and run a karaoke road show."
